“Cur-8”, Pilsner & Bourbon Barrel-Aged Tripel

Hitting shelves in February 1st, at the start of Black History Month, Crown & Hops Brewing Co., the celebrated Black-owned brewery in Inglewood, California and Allagash Brewing Company, the award-winning Portland, Maine-based brewery are proud to announce the launch of their collaboration beer, Cur-8, Pilsner & Bourbon Barrel-Aged Tripel.

Cur-8 pairs the crisp flavor of Crown & Hops’ 8 Trill Pils pilsner with notes of bourbon, vanilla and oak from Allagash Curieux.

This collaboration is an example of dedication to progress with the ultimate goal of creating a more equitable industry through the business of world class craft beer. Both companies have been in conversation for more than two years discussing how to make the most impact on a disparity in craft beer ownership that has lasted for far too long. With Crowns & Hops leading the charge with their nonprofit, The 8 Trill Initiative and Allagash representing industry leading processes and products, the two organizations hope to showcase a path forward to a more diverse and inclusive industry by empowerment, education and capital.

All proceeds from the sale of this crisp collaboration go to the 8 Trill Fund.
